CA Agile Central

The CA Agile Central application lifecycle management platform helps agile development teams deliver great software that is linked to strategic business objectives. The CA Flowdock integration makes CA Agile Central activity visible in CA Flowdock in real-time. See it in action.

For each flow, select which projects and item types you want to follow. You can follow as many projects in as many flows as you wish. Link your flow with CA Agile Central projects by following these steps:

  1. Inside your flow, open up the Inbox Settings from the gear icon next to the flow's name.
  2. Click on Add new next to CA Agile Central.
  3. Follow the instructions to complete the four step linking process. You will be asked to log in to CA Agile Central with your CA Agile Central credentials, after which you can select which projects and item types you want to follow in your flow.

  4. Once complete, CA Agile Central activity should appear in your flow's team inbox. You can find a list of connected CA Agile Central projects in your flow's Inbox Settings.

Note: CA Flowdock only supports adding projects from your default CA Agile Central workspace. Support for multiple workspaces will be added, but until then, the workaround is to temporarily switch your default workspace, link your flow with your project(s), and then switch the default workspace back to its original workspace. The integration will continue to work even with projects not in your default workspace.

You can view discussions on your Agile Central artifacts in your Flowdock inbox. Conversely, you can share a Flowdock message to an Agile Central artifact discussion. This is an effective way to have conversations around work items in a localized and central location. You must have edit permissions on the Agile Central project to which the artifact belongs.
